Fourth Annual “Diamond in the Rough”
Chess Tournament, Thursday May 15, 2008
Date: Thursday, May 15, 2008
Location: US Cellular Field (home of the Chicago White Sox).
Check-In: 8:30 a.m.; the first round will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Lunch: Provided for all players, coaches and volunteers
Eligibility: All chess club members from each participating school.

Players should know all the rules of chess, be able to play a full game, and be prepared to use the "touch move rule."
Entry deadline: Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at 6:00 p.m. No onsite entries.
Transportation: Each school is responsible for arranging transportation.
Skittles Room: Please bring your own chess sets and activities (i.e., board games, homework, books) to occupy your players during the down time between tournament rounds.Confirmations: please click here to confirm that we have received your entry fee and your roster.
