A list of Chess Education
Partners' events and other events recommended for our students.
Most of our students love to play in chess tournaments. We believe that
competition greatly enhances a child's chess experience. There is a wide
variety of chess tournaments available to scholastic chess players. These
range from there own chess club tournament to large state and national
events.
We encourage our students to try competitive play. We introduce
tournament play to them in our classes during our lectures, and then we
follow up with a chess club tournament . Those players who enjoy the club
tournaments invariably want to take their games on the road and test
themselves against children from other schools and communities.
Here we present the events recommended by Chess Education Partners. We
try to recommend events that are professionally run, fun and fair for all
players, and affordable. Although we try our best to find events that meet
these standards, we cannot guarantee that they will.
Chess Education Partners runs chess
tournaments. Our events range in size from very small to enormous. We host
events for schools, clubs, leagues, social clubs, corporations, church
groups, and large chess associations. Chess tournaments are great fund
raisers and community builders.
Please contact us if you would a chess tournament for your organization.
Some of these events are open to all players, but most are not. The
majority of these events are open to only a select group of players. Please
read the description of each event in order to understand who is eligible.
Nothing is worse than showing up to an event then finding out it is not
available to you.
